1. Scope and contact
This policy covers the PriceValue web, installed web app and Android app, primarily offered to users in the Republic of Korea. Personal-data processing is governed principally by Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act, without limiting mandatory rights that otherwise apply to a user. 2. On-device data
User coins, symbols, market identifiers and exact CoinGecko IDs, currency, language/display settings, alert/widget choices and thresholds, portfolio, install/cache state and the local notice record may be stored in browser storage, service-worker cache or Android SharedPreferences. The current app has no share-link feature that places calculation values in a URL. Ordinary calculator quantities and purchase values are not included in market-price requests. Data may be removed when site/app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Android system backup is disabled and third-party WebView cookies are blocked.
3. Necessary requests
Even without account registration or login, an IP address, request/server/security logs, cookies or browser/app storage identifiers and an inquiry email can be personal data depending on linkability. Price and page requests may process URL, coin/market identifiers, time, IP address, User-Agent, device/browser information and Firebase App Check/reCAPTCHA security tokens to deliver content, troubleshoot, secure the service and prevent abuse. Coin-search terms are sent to the same-domain search API and may be queried with CoinGecko, CoinCap, CoinPaprika or CryptoCompare when the local catalog has no match. User-coin verification and quote requests include the symbol and exact CoinGecko ID. The same-domain Worker uses these identifiers for Binance verification and Binance, LBank or CoinGecko price lookups. Quote requests do not include calculator quantities or purchase values. Custom quote responses may be cached in Worker memory for up to 30 seconds. The application does not create persistent visitor UUIDs, IP-based geolocation, duration or feature-behavior analytics profiles for ordinary visitors. Infrastructure providers may still process operational/security logs under actual contracts, console settings and policies.
4. Optional inquiry and alerts
An inquiry sends category, message, optional email, language, time and status to Firebase only after a separate consent. It is deleted after the response, complaint or dispute purpose ends unless law requires retention. Alerts may process permission status, push endpoint/keys, coins, thresholds, currency, language, device/app information and delivery results until unsubscribe, deletion request or the purpose ends. Device notification permission must also be withdrawn in device settings.
5. Providers and international processing
Cloudflare Workers/R2 may deliver and secure the service; Google Firebase Database and App Check/reCAPTCHA may support public data, inquiries and security; browser/Android services may deliver notifications. CoinGecko, CoinCap, CoinPaprika, CryptoCompare, Binance, Coinbase, LBank, Upbit, Bybit and OKX may support prices, search and comparison. Global infrastructure may process connection, security and optional-feature data abroad. The operator must keep the stated purposes, items, retention, processors, international transfers, user rights and privacy contact aligned with actual operations. Exact recipient, country, timing/method and retention must be confirmed from contracts, console settings and provider policies.
6. Retention, disclosure and safety
Device data remains until cleared. Inquiry/subscription data is removed after its purpose ends or a valid withdrawal/deletion request, unless legally required. Operational and security logs follow the minimum necessary period and actual provider settings. Clearing browser data does not erase server/provider records. The service currently has no paid third-party advertising or sponsorship, affiliate/referral reward, or e-commerce function. The operator-displayed Boomerang related-service information banner (https://boomerang.shop) and direct LBank official-download link without a referral code (https://www.lbank.com/download) are optional external navigation. Calculation values, portfolios and memos are not appended to either URL, and no LBank trading, sign-up or deposit link is provided. Personal data is not sold or used for targeted advertising or non-essential visit/location/behavior analytics. Never submit passwords, exchange API keys, private keys, seed phrases or government identifiers.
7. Age, public pages and changes
The service is intended for ages 14+. The homepage, guide, terms and privacy policy may be indexed; private inquiries, subscriptions and local portfolios are not public sitemap entries. Material changes will be announced before effect and consent will be requested where required. Before adding accounts, server-side personal-data storage, ads or sponsorships, affiliate rewards, paid features, exchange connections, buy/sell signals or automated trading, the operator will re-review data items and flows, processors/transfers, retention/deletion and rights procedures and update this policy first. Live market WebSockets
The calculator may connect directly from the browser to Binance for public price events for supported base coins and to LBank for public KSTA price events, using WebSocket connections. Each provider may process connection metadata needed to operate the connection, including the IP address, connection time and subscribed public market symbols. The compact status line shows price status, exchange name and FX status, without elapsed age or collection time. Expanded price-source details may show provider names, per-coin status, connection state and the time PriceValue received each quote. The interface does not display the connection protocol name. A PriceValue receive time is not an exchange execution time. These public subscriptions do not send calculator quantities, purchase amounts, portfolios or exchange account credentials. Provider-side connection logs are handled under each provider's policies and actual settings.
Scenario input privacy
Buy prices, quantities, comparison prices, and results entered for A/B/C scenarios are processed only in the current page memory. These scenario values are not sent to a server or stored in browser storage. They disappear when the page is closed or refreshed.
28 September 2026 · Shared countdown
Sharing a countdown stores its title, content, target time and creation time in PriceValue Cloudflare R2. The request IP may be used for per-minute abuse limits. Anyone with the link can view the full content. The link expires one year after the target; data is deleted on a later visit or by an administrator. Unvisited expired data is not automatically erased. Request removal with the link at help@pricevalue.ai. The repeat setting and completion message are also stored and visible to anyone with the link. The converted JPG is stored with the shared record in R2 and is public through the link and preview. Original location and camera metadata are not included. The image is removed when the record is deleted. Edits replace shared fields and store the last update time.
2026-09-29 · Exchange rate update
The FX comparison retrieves public rates, sources and fetch times on the server. The Eximbank API key remains a server secret and is not returned publicly. Calculator amounts and portfolios are not sent in comparison requests. Ordinary access information such as IP address and request time may be processed for service operation and abuse prevention. Existing device storage of a rate for up to 24 hours continues.
2026-09-29 · Delete your countdown
A random deletion credential for new shared countdowns is stored in the creator’s browser; only its hash is stored with the server record. Shared URLs do not contain this credential. Deleting after the target removes the R2 record, including title, content and image, and the local list entry. Cleared browser data and other devices cannot recover the credential; operator assistance is available.
2026-09-30 · Calendar event
The calendar file is generated in your browser from the title, content and target time. Using Add to calendar alone does not newly store these values on PriceValue servers. Importing the file into another calendar app is subject to that app’s privacy terms.
